In Australia we have found that the word “cheers” can be used for at least these three meanings: As a toast “Thanks” - as in “thanks for holding the door open for me” “Goodbye” - as in “take care”, “see ya” “bye” We’re keeping an ear open for more uses of this word…

Fiji Update: BULA from the Coral View
The Yasawas are a chain of islands in western Fiji. We’re staying at one of the nicest places we’ve ever seen. The snorkeling is amazing and the people are incredibly friendly. The weather is a cool 77 degrees. Perfect weather for doing a lot of nothing.  :) We’ll post more updates when we get to Australia on Sunday.
