ALOHA!
We got to Hawaii after a long day of travel. Thanks for the ride to LAX mom! Wednesday was a lot of delays at LAX while our plane was repaired. Apparently the generator was malfunctioning. We started to taxi and the captain stopped the plane and came back to the terminal. Some expensive airport food and many updates later, we finally boarded the plane again. We changed airlines in Honolulu and luckily were able to change flights at no extra charge. Brent picked us up at the Hilo airport and we made our way back into the jungle. Everything was dark as we arrived much later in the day than we originally planned. One 7-Eleven stop and a bumpy ride down a dirt road later and we were at the treehouse. Hawaii smells so fresh, like real air and full of life.
More to come!
